family portraits
Family portraits - fun? Yes! My family
sessions are relaxed and easy going. I want to capture your
relationship and the love that you share. We'll start with some
posed shots, and then my goal is for you to have fun together while
I capture the moment. I do lots of different combinations of
people - just the kids, mom+daughters, dad+baby, etc., and individual
portraits too. Pets are family too and are welcome.
My family sessions are done in many
different locations and with many different group sizes. Your
family can include just you and your dogs, or your extended family, or
anyone in between. (My session fee does increase when your
group size gets large - it takes me a lot more time to edit and I
have to reflect that in my session fee.) There are so many great locations around
the Albuquerque area for family portraits! I like the
predictable places, and I like places you've probably never thought
of using for family pictures. I also do family sessions in
clients' homes, or I have a home-studio that you are welcome to use.
Your session will include usually 40 - 75
proofs, in color and black & white. We will set up an
appointment, usually one to two weeks after your session, to view
the portraits in person. I can do this at your home, you can
come to me, or we can meet at Flying Star, a park, or somewhere
else. If you would like an online gallery for family members
to view who live away from Albuquerque, that is possible after you
make your purchase. You, or anyone else, can always order
additional prints after your first purchase.

consultation with you - every session is different, but clothes can make
the difference between a fantastic portrait and something more....
distracting. I want the focus of the images to be on your faces
instead of on your clothing.
